The Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers reached 333.918 in July 2026. That represents a 0.0% monthly move and a +3.4% change from the same month a year earlier.
Core CPI, which excludes food and energy, changed +2.5% over the year. Final-demand producer prices changed +4.7%, providing a separate view of price pressure before it reaches households.
The three measures cover different baskets and should not be treated as interchangeable. Together they show whether inflation pressure is broad, concentrated, or emerging earlier in the supply chain.
